In 2021, Hebei province will reduce taxes and fees for high-tech enterprises by more than 10 billion yuan


According to hebei Taxation Bureau, in 2021, tax authorities in Hebei will precisely implement preferential tax rates, additional deduction of R&D expenses, accelerated depreciation and other preferential policies to fully support the development of high-tech enterprises, and implement tax reduction and exemption of 10.971 billion yuan for high-tech enterprises, exceeding 10 billion yuan for the first time.According to the current tax policy, the preferential income tax rate of 15% shall be applied to high-tech enterprises.The proportion of additional deductions for r&d expenses for manufacturing enterprises will be increased from 75 percent to 100 percent, and for other industries, 75 percent.One-off pre-tax deduction is allowed for newly purchased equipment and appliances whose unit value does not exceed 5 million yuan.The implementation of preferential tax policies has played a positive role in encouraging high-tech enterprises to increase r&d investment and support technological innovation, and the market share of high-tech enterprises has further increased.Data show that in 2021, the operating revenue of high-tech enterprises in Hebei province increased 28.53% year on year, the profit margin of enterprises reached 76.19%, the competitiveness continued to strengthen, and the demand for products is strong.The number of high-tech enterprises surpassed the 10,000 mark for the first time, reaching 11,138, up 18.24% year-on-year and 44.40% from 2019.Hebei province has initially formed a collaborative innovation growth belt around Beijing and Tianjin, xiongan New Area and Zhangjiakou City as two innovation and technology growth poles, and the development of high-tech enterprises has entered a “fast lane”.(Reporter Song Ping, correspondent Cui Chen, Yu Ruifang)
